Humpback Rocks

Humpback Rocks was on my list of things to do this summer. Cynthia and Norm took the climb
with me. Humpback Rocks is at milepost 5.8 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The approximately 40 minute climb rewards you with a stunning view. The rock outcrop was a landmark guiding wagon trains over Howardsville Turnpike in the 1840s. I'm going to let the pictures do all the talking. Keep in mind, the photos do not do justice....

After the climb down, we drove over an hour to Timmy and Sara's to top off the day poolside.
