Sister Cyn and I decided to pack up the bikes and try out the Hawksbill Trail in Luray, VA. This is a fairly new paved trail for walking and biking. The trail is located in downtown Luray. This easy trail meanders along the trail, which is named for the tallest mountain in the Shenandoah Virginia National Park, Hawksbill Mountain...elevation 4,050 feet.
This is the road that goes through town. The trail goes under this bridge.
The benches in this area a dedicated. Live music is held here during the summer. This is next to the bridge by the trail.
If you want nice and easy, this is your ride. Right, Cyn?
